Does the job nicely!

I bought these leggings to go underneath dress pants, leggings, and jeans in the wintertime. They are very lightweight and provide a lot of warmth – I notice I have not felt cold when I am wearing them, including walking in cold and windy conditions. One thing to keep in mind (as listed in the description) is that they are low-waisted. I would recommend sizing up if you are not sure, as they hug the body nicely, and even when sizing up, I don't think they add any extra bulk. While they don't feel 'silky' smooth against the skin, they are certainly not scratchy. Just feels like a nice, protective 'hug' to help beat the cold!
