Boiled wool is naturally dirt-repellent and self-cleaning, so it’s best to wash sparingly and air often. When needed:

1. Fill a sink with lukewarm water and wool-safe detergent.

2. Spot-treat stains gently with ox-gall soap.

3. Swish gently—do not rub or wring.

4. Rinse in lukewarm water.

5. Press out water gently or roll in a towel.

6. Lay flat on a towel or drying rack to dry, reshaping as needed.

7. Dry in a shaded, well-ventilated place.
