Engel Sports is a line of high-performance athletic wear made from certified organic merino wool and silk designed for sports and outdoor activities.  This apparel line utilizes a new material made from superfine merino wool fibres that are only 17.5 microns thick and combined with exquisite silk.  Certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). 

This combination of 70% organic merino virgin wool, 28% silk, and 2% spandex results in maximum breathability, comfortably insulating your body from extreme temperatures. Including 2% spandex reinforces the natural elasticity of the wool fibres, enabling the clothing to retain its shape remarkably well. 

The natural properties of the wool/silk blend produce an antibacterial effect, reducing the odour buildup caused by sweat. These garments do not need to be washed often.  Simply hanging them out in the fresh air between uses is sufficient until laundering is necessary.

Care: Machine-washable at 40 C (approximately 100 F) with wool detergent. Lay flat to dry.
