Spring Weather, Ready for Anything
Spring invites us back outside—but it rarely arrives in just one form. A day might begin with a chill, soften into warmth, and end with a passing rain. It asks us to be flexible, to dress in ways that can shift alongside it. My grass is the greenest I have ever seen it! Might be because of all the rain, or maybe because everything has been so grey and dark for so long! And the light at the beginning and the end of the day warms my heart! We are so fortunate to have such an incredible natural world all around us.

Wool continues to shine in my world, in every season - but especially the shoulder seasons where I just don't know what to expect when I head out the door - yesterday there was frost, today there is dew. One day is foggy, and the next is warm enough to take off your coat and sit outside for lunch!
Light wool layers—like tanks and tees from Engel and Hocosa—provide a gentle foundation. They breathe when the sun comes out, yet still hold warmth close when clouds roll in. Unlike heavier winter layers, they feel barely there, making them perfect for active spring days.

For cooler, damp mornings, a wool-silk hat or neck warmer from Pickapooh adds just enough protection. Soft against the skin and naturally temperature-regulating, it helps little ones stay comfortable without overheating as the day unfolds. AND it fits in your pocket when you no longer need it.
And then there are the very best moments that define spring for children: mud puddles, muddy trails, wet slides, so much water that simply must be explored. Our Rainmitts are made for exactly this—keeping hands dry so play can continue uninterrupted.
These little, thoughtful pieces make a difference. They allow us to stay immersed in our play and linger outdoors just a little longer.
Because spring isn’t meant to be avoided—it’s meant to be experienced.
With the right layers, you’re ready for all of it.
